Advanced Water Purification Technology

CapDI (Membrane Capacitive Deionization) is an advanced water purification technology that works like a flow-through capacitor. Feedwater flows through stacks of capacitor plates where ions are adsorbed by carbon electrodes covered with cation and anion exchange membranes. These membranes allow only ions to pass, preventing unwanted migration and ensuring highly efficient deionization.

Its behaves like a flow-through capacitor where the feedwater travels through stacks of capacitor plates. Ions are adsorbed by carbon electrodes covered with cation and anion ion exchange membranes. The membranes are employed to keep positive and negative ions from migrating to their respective opposite poles during the regeneration sequence. These membranes are impermeable to water, allowing only ions to pass. Alternately, RO water desalination technology employs semi-permeable spiral wound membranes, operating under high pressure, to remove ions, molecules, and larger particles from water.

Unlike conventional Reverse Osmosis (RO), which requires high pressure and semi-permeable membranes, CapDI operates at low pressure, offering higher water recovery, reduced energy consumption, and chemical-free operation.

Filtration Process in CapDI Water ATM

  1. Pre-Filtration – Removes sand, dirt, odor, bad taste, and heavy metals.

  2. CapDI TDS Removal – Adjustable TDS reduction with high recovery rate.

  3. Hydro-dis System – Eliminates bacteria/pathogens and adds Free Residual Chlorine (FRC) to ensure long-lasting disinfection.

  4. Water Cooling – Integrated water cooler for chilled purified water.

  5. Dispensing Unit – Vending option for 330 mL, 1 L, and 5 L bottles through coin/card-based operation.
